My name is Daria, and 2 years ago my family decided to adopt a kitty. When we saw Gab on Andrea’s rescue page, our heart dropped, and we knew he was the one! Our first furry baby! Andrea was so kind to us, and equipped us with all the necessary information. Our precious boy was hand delivered to his forever home, and we couldn’t have been happier since then. I always had a passion to save animals, but wasn’t even close to Andrea’s compassion, boldness and love! I was happy to help at least one little soul that needed us. I started following Andrea on Instagram, and couldn’t believe how many fuzzies find homes through her generous heart. That inspired me to adopt a senior puppy Philip, who was found abandoned on a highway. Our family grew and grew bigger! Philip and Gab became brothers. We live in a small apartment, and don’t have tons of space, but it didn’t stopped us from adopting another baby kitten Sonia. Andrea had a few of them on her page. Their eyes, their love called our name once more! Now we have 3 amazing furry babies, completely different from each other, with the sweetest personalities. We are not perfect and sometimes go through a rough patch, but we are strong because we have little souls supporting us, giving us absolute love and care (it is mutual). After losing my cat of 13 years to cancer, I swore that I would never get another cat because I just couldn't go through the pain again. But than I found "Booty", I was on-line one night & saw his picture & fell immediately in love with him. I sent an email & Andrea responded with all the details about him, she then arranged to meet me at the animal shelter is SFO for the adoption process. Andrea was so nice & you can tell right off that her love for animals is Genuine. We keep in contact & I send her pictures of Booty every month, I've had Booty now for almost two years & he is full of love & is the best thing that has come into my life. Thanks to Andrea
We had recently lost our beloved cat and happened upon Andrea’s Dream Rescue at Pet Food Express. We started fostering cats to help give back while also healing our hearts. It was cathartic for us and rewarding to shower our love on these little ones who need it so much. After a few weeks of fostering Spaz and Callie (we got to name them as foster parents – BONUS!) we decided we simply HAD to have them.
The thing that stands out about Andrea is her passion and care for all animals, and this showed in her responsiveness to our many texts and calls. We had so many questions and wanted to do it right. She is super knowledgeable about “all things cats” and had an answer for everything we needed.
We’re grateful to her for introducing us to our girls!
Adding Nala to our family has been both an exciting and fulfilling experience for us all! Your rescue service was thorough in vetting out families to place a family's new addition. We found it very difficult to even find a rescue cat and prior to finding you, we had a difficult time getting any information regarding the cats shown on sites through other services. We are grateful we had the chance to meet with you, for our dog Chip to meet Nala prior to her joining the family and for our whole family to spend a little time with her in our home prior to the adoption. She is a wonderful friend and finds joy and delight in being with us whether we are sitting around chatting in the kitchen or on vacation as a family. She is intelligent and fits right in with Chip. We love her! She is perfect.
